The next morning, Chen Yu woke up to find Zhong Xiaoqin, who looked like a docile kitten in his arms, smiling slightly. He gently kissed her forehead, and Zhong Xiaoqin seemed to sense it, nuzzling her head against Chen Yu's shoulder, her eyelashes fluttering as she slowly opened her eyes.

Chen Yu also watched Korean dramas with Zhong Xiaoqin, but he had a flaw: he liked to comment. But now, watching dramas on a television, Chen Yu could only vent his criticisms on Zhong Xiaoqin. At noon, Zhong Xiaoqin wanted to eat scrambled eggs, and Chen Yu once again demonstrated his technique of "frying a whole egg pancake without breaking it," earning him another wave of admiration!

Chen Yu's visit to Zhong Xiaoqin's house was mainly to announce their relationship and to introduce himself to her parents—a necessary step before marriage. Some procedures are required; refusing them can make one feel looked down upon.
This time, Zhong's mother did not check the household registration again. After all, she had already learned most of what she needed to know from Zhong Xiaoqin, except for some things that Zhong Xiaoqin deliberately concealed, such as Wang Wenwen.
They ate dinner at Zhong Xiaoqin's house that evening. This time, Chen Yu didn't refuse to drink and drive, and instead drank two glasses of Wuliangye with Zhong's father. Chen Yu got into the car, but Zhong Xiaoqin didn't leave with him.
