Chapter 392: Destiny (3)
Chapter 392: Destiny (3)
On the day after Christmas, Gloria arrived at Grimmauld Place.
The Muggles couldn't see the existence of Room 12, so she was watching from a distance.
Compared to the door that was covered with scratches more than a decade later, it is now still brand new and clean, with a silver door handle that looks like a coiled snake and no keyhole.
Gloria sat from morning to night, she knew her father would act at night.
Around nine o'clock in the evening, Gloria finally saw Regulus coming back from outside.
He was still so young, but his face showed an unconcealable sadness, and his right hand was tightly holding something.
Gloria knew it was time for him to go to the cave.
No one noticed that a girl sitting on a bench suddenly disappeared.
On the stormy sea, Gloria stood on a solitary rock, watching Regulus and Kreacher on a boat, drifting on the dark sea and into the cave.
She was obviously about to do something very heroic, but she smiled.
I have thought so many times how great it would be if I could stop all this from happening, and today I have that chance.
Regulus stood in front of the stone basin, knowing that the liquid inside was poison.
Kreacher tried to grab his robe, but failed to actually touch it. "Master Regulus..."
Regulus finally made up his mind and took out the locket that he had tried his best to imitate.
"Kreacher, remember, when the basin is empty, switch the two lockets."
Kreacher immediately climbed to the stone basin, "Kreacher, drink this now!"
"Stop! Kreacher." Regulus ordered him, and Kreacher obeyed his master's orders absolutely and stopped.
He placed the locket in Kreacher's hand, "I'll drink, you switch the lockets, this is my order."
Kreacher cried as he looked at the locket, but he could not disobey his master's order.
Before Regulus could drink the poison, he heard a snap.
His face turned pale in an instant, thinking that Voldemort had come.
I just looked up and saw a familiar girl, and I felt inexplicably close to her.
"No need to drink it." Gloria tried to suppress her excitement, "The locket is no longer in there."
She said as she pulled out the real Slytherin locket.
Regulus put his hand down and asked, "Are you from the Order of the Phoenix?"
Did Dumbledore realize Voldemort's creation of the Horcruxes so quickly?
"No." She just happened to be doing the same thing as the Order of the Phoenix.
Regulus was in no hurry to ask about the locket, "Do you...know a girl named Aurora?"
Of course she knows her, she's her mother.
"We have some relationship, but she doesn't know I exist." Gloria thought for a moment and said, "Please don't mention me to her."
She continued, "I know Aurora is your wife and we even have a child together. You can just pretend you don't know about this."
Regulus immediately understood that this girl knew a lot, "I have to do this even more for Laura and Lori."
Gloria's eyes were hot and she almost cried, but she held back her tears and turned around and said, "If you die, Aurora won't live long, even though she loves Lori as her daughter."
"I feel sorry for them." Regulus said dejectedly, "But I have to do this."
After controlling her emotions, Gloria looked at him again and said, "You can go back. He has more than one Horcrux. Dumbledore and I have destroyed four of them. Only the last one is left. But I need your help with something."
Regulus opened his mouth slightly. He had specifically looked up information about Horcruxes. Voldemort actually made five of these extremely evil things!
After a moment's pause, he asked, "What help?"
Gloria thought of the rat and said, "Watch out for who in the Order becomes a spy."
Regulus nodded, "Okay."
I was thinking, is this girl Aurora's sister?
Looks like...

A few weeks later, Gloria and Dumbledore went to the Hog's Head Inn together, and Trelawney came for another interview.
Because of her words, Dumbledore was a little more patient to listen to Trelawney's so-called prophecy this time.
However, Gloria was annoyed. No wonder the principal had not agreed to the previous two interviews.
Seeing that Dumbledore was about to stand up and decline, Trelawney quickly grabbed his robes and said, "I see the danger! The danger brought by the You-Know-Who!"
Gloria covered her eyes. Anyone with eyesight could see the danger posed by Voldemort.
"Sybyl, I was thinking..." Dumbledore decided to decline for the third time.
But this woman wearing strange glasses fell into a strange state.
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches—"
When Dumbledore heard this and her state, he immediately sat back down.
Gloria was in no mood to hear her say that she was born at the end of July, so she had to wait until then.
As Dumbledore and Aberforth listened intently to the prophecy, she looked towards the closed door of the pub.
"Born into a family that has defeated the Dark Lord three times..."
Gloria heard the prophecy with her own ears and witnessed the moment of destiny.
Just after finishing the first half of the prophecy, Aberforth opened the door and Snape was standing at the door.
At that time, he was not yet a professor at Hogwarts, and was still working under Voldemort.
"Go away!"
Aberforth shooed him away, and Snape didn't hear the second half.
After listening to the entire prophecy, Dumbledore understood that Voldemort's nemesis was about to appear, but whether it would become his nemesis depended on Voldemort's choice.
He immediately agreed to Trelawney's application, and Trelawney had no idea that he had uttered a true prophecy, and happily packed his bags to go to Hogwarts to take up the post.
Aberforth threw the rag on the bar in annoyance. "That guy named Snape was eavesdropping at the door just now. Be careful."
He knew the importance of this prophecy.
Gloria and Dumbledore left the room, and she deliberately asked, "With a similar background to the Dark Lord...are there many people who have defeated him three times?"
Dumbledore looked at her, was silent for a few seconds and said, "Not much, don't say this outside, go away!"
Gloria obviously wanted to be heard by someone, but she couldn't really talk about it outside because it would be too fake.
Upon hearing this, Snape, who was hiding in the dark, was overjoyed. He told the Dark Lord this prophecy, and he would be given an important position.
When they arrived at Godric's Hollow, Dumbledore asked her, "Why do you say that?"
The prophecy does not mention the alleged similar background.
"Because I can't wait until Harry is born," she said, "I have to solve these problems before Harry is born, and I have to take James with me to the Horcrux hidden in Gringotts."
Dumbledore's half-circle glasses flashed as he turned his head. "You want Tom to clearly target Lily and James' child."
"It was Harry. Even if I didn't say that, he would still choose Harry." Gloria looked out the window. "But my time is limited. If it's not resolved before the beginning of July..."
At this point, she is still in her mother's womb and is not yet a complete person, but after she is born, she will have to return to the original timeline.
So we have to speed up.
