HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 162 Well-deserved No. 1

Chapter 162 Well-deserved No. 1

Professor Snape and Sirius were standing far away at the entrance, both waiting for Gloria.

Gloria suppressed her smile and walked over quickly.

"The competition is exciting. I believe you will win first place." Professor Snape rarely smiled, and his voice was no longer so cold.

Sirius put his arm around her shoulders and said, "Well done Leah, you and Harry did the best job."

The two of them pretended that the other did not exist.

When Professor Snape's eyes met Sirius, the faint smile on his face immediately disappeared, and he returned to his usual gloomy expression.

"To be on the safe side, go to Madam Pomfrey for a checkup, and you'll be graded when you come out." Sirius walked her to the tent. "I can't stay long after the competition, so I'll leave soon. Remember to write to me later."

Gloria nodded, "I will." Then she hugged him gently before entering the tent.

Madam Pomfrey came over immediately after she came in. "I heard everything!" She said with joy, and checked Gloria from head to toe. "Great, you're not hurt. Headmaster Dumbledore said you used a very ancient spell. Did you consume enough magic?"

"Everything is fine. That spell is difficult to learn, but not difficult to cast."

Pomfrey nodded with satisfaction and let her out only after he was sure that everything was fine. At this time, someone rushed in.

"Lori--!" Draco hugged her, "Are you hurt?"

"No." Gloria smiled and he held her cheek and looked at her.

"My heart almost stopped when you came on the court. Fortunately, you are fine." The boy's cheeks flushed with excitement. "They can't compare to you at all. You are the best Lori!"

Facing Draco's fiery gaze, Gloria said, "I told you I could handle these games."

"Okay Mr. Malfoy, you can go out now." Pomfrey waved his hand in disgust to drive them away.

When they came out, the dragon had disappeared, and the judges were sitting on chairs covered with gold cloth.

The first person to score was Madame Maxime. She raised her wand high, and a long silver ribbon spurted out from the tip of the wand, slowly forming a number 8.

"What? She gave her own student 10 points even though his clothes were burned!" Draco was quite dissatisfied with the score.

The second is Mr. Short, who gave it a score of 9.

Headmaster Dumbledore gave 10 points. The Slytherin students were extremely excited. Mr. Bagman also gave 10 points.

Finally it was Karkaroff, who gave 5 points with a sour face.

Not only were the students here angry, Bagman also said something directly to him, and finally shouted in a loud voice: "That game wasn't exciting enough?! What nonsense are you talking about!"

Draco was even angrier than Bagman, staring at Karkaroff with resentment.

Gloria asked, "What place am I in?"

"First place! You got 42 points. The second place Krum and Potter got the same score. If it weren't for Karkaroff, you would be nearly 10 points ahead of them!" Draco said indignantly.

He was not the only one who was angry, the entire Slytherin house booed Karkaroff.

Gloria felt that in the future, their college would no longer be close to Durmstrang students at the dinner table.

The scoring is over, the first project is successfully completed, and the warriors have to return to the tent.

Gloria came in holding the golden egg and saw that Harry's expression had changed from his previous depressed look to become energetic. The clothes on his injured arm were still torn, but the wound had healed.

Fleur changed her clothes and Krum frowned deeply.

"You all did a great job on the first project!" Bagman clapped his hands, looking so happy that it seemed as if he had completed the task himself.

The four of them looked at him calmly. Bagman was not affected and continued, "Okay, it's time to tell you something. The second project will start at 9:30 am on February 24th. Compared to the first project, you can have a good rest this time. But there are some questions that you need to think about. These are the golden eggs. If you look carefully, you will find that they can be opened. What you have to do is to figure out what is inside. Have I made it very clear? Okay, you can leave now."

Gloria looked at the golden egg, curious about what was inside.

Harry stared at the golden egg in confusion, and when he came out he met Ron who was waiting for him. Not far away stood Draco who was looking at everyone with a cold face.

The two came forward together, and Gloria handed the golden egg to Draco with a smile, "I got the golden egg."

The boy watched curiously, but didn't see anything special.

"Where's Hermione?" Gloria asked Harry and Ron.

"Uh..." Harry said hesitantly, "She burst into tears and ran away. She should have gone back to the common room."

Draco glanced at Harry when he heard this, snorted coldly and continued looking at the golden egg.

"Then you guys go back, we are leaving too."

The boy had a proud look on his face and walked towards the castle with Gloria in his arms.

It wasn't until he could no longer see the tent behind him that Draco looked the golden egg up and down. "What's in it?"

"It needs to be opened." Gloria pointed at the egg and said, "It has a gap. It should be able to open by unscrewing the thing on the top."

Draco looked around, wanting to open it quickly, but was afraid of being seen by others, after all, it was information related to the second project.

"Go back to the lounge and open it. Then the whole hospital will work together to come up with a solution."

Gloria took out the fire dragon model she had drawn from her pocket and said, "This is what I drew. Do you want it?"

Draco took the model. The Hungarian Horntail that had been ferocious in the paddock before was now shrunk hundreds of times in his hands. The tiny head looked at him, grinning and revealing sharp teeth that were not scary at all.

"She's really pretty, the most majestic in the paddock." The whole academy is proud of this. Draco said, "But I have to put it away carefully so Adonis can't see it."

As an important partner, Adonis would roll over and feel aggrieved whenever he smelled the scent of other dragons on him, so that the boy never went to the golden fire dragon's lair again.

Soon his proud expression was replaced by worry, "The first project is so dangerous, the second project will be even more difficult..."

"Draco." Gloria looked at him. "I can complete the first project easily, and the second one will be the same. Believe me."

We returned to the lounge together, where a grand welcome ceremony was already prepared.

"Gloria!"

Cheers and noise exploded, all shouting her name, almost all the students in the college were there.

What I saw was a huge painting with Gloria holding up a golden egg, and a Hungarian Horntail hanging its head beside her, as if submitting to her.

"You're awesome, Gloria. You got the golden egg safely!" a senior student said excitedly.

Others followed suit.

"That's a golden egg, can you open it?"

"Of course." Gloria looked at Draco, "You open it."

The boy blushed slightly, and looked at everyone seriously, "No matter what information the golden egg contains, no one is allowed to reveal it!"

"Of course not, this is the honor of Slytherin."

Draco was satisfied and opened the golden egg. The slightly heavy egg opened along the crack like a flower, but a shrill scream came from inside.

Gloria quickly closed the golden egg, and the color on the boy's face disappeared completely. He had never expected to hear this, and the same was true for the other students.
