Xie Linchuan put down his glass and gazed into the distance, as if gazing through the endless darkness at the trajectory of his life from childhood to adulthood. His voice was low and hoarse as he spoke slowly, "My family is not something that ordinary people can understand. He paused here, and a trace of barely perceptible pain and fatigue flashed in his eyes, as if those memories brought an indelible haze.

Ye Wan listened to his words, a wave of pity welling up in her heart. She finally understood that Xie Linchuan's coldness and guardedness weren't innate, but rather forced upon him by the heavy pressure and mission of his family. He had never had a life or freedom of his own. The burden of responsibility was like an invisible yoke, tightly binding his every step. She gently placed her hand on the back of his and said softly, "I know how heavy the responsibilities are on you, but I hope you can understand that besides the family mission, there are people who truly care about you. No matter what burden you carry, I will be with you and face it all with you."
Xie Linchuan looked down at her, a touch of tenderness and emotion in his eyes. Her gentleness brought a rare sense of relaxation and comfort to his heart, which was worn down by responsibility.
"Ye Wan, do you know?" he whispered, "Ever since I met you, I've realized I can have such company. You made me realize that I'm not just a tool to carry the burden of my family, but I'm also a person, someone who deserves love and freedom."
Ye Wan smiled gently and firmly grasped his hand. "No matter what mission you shoulder or what situation you find yourself in, I will always be with you. Because in my heart, you are not only the Xie Linchuan who protects everyone, but also my trustworthy partner and... my reliance."
