Chapter 3 Turning the Enemy to a Surrender
Chapter 3 Turning the Enemy to a Surrender
Granny Cui confirmed that the person in front of her was alive.
She stood up and angrily pointed at Ali: "What are you doing?"
Ali picked up her teacup, took a sip, and then slowly said, "Granny, you have no attachment to this world anymore, do you?"
"?"
Ali glanced at her sideways, her aura suddenly becoming imposing: "Who do you think you are? How dare you speak to me like that!"
Granny Cui was used to bullying and lording it over Ali.
He was about to retort, but when he looked up and met Ali's murderous gaze, he was so shocked that he forgot to speak.
When did your eyes become so sharp, Miss?
Ali slowly stood up: "Is it because I don't usually get involved in things that you all think I'm easy to bully?"
She certainly knew the importance of establishing authority.
This is the old woman Cui whom the system wants her to win over; she was also involved in the poisoning!
Granny Cui was the one who sent the servants away.
Although they didn't directly kill him, they were still people who wanted to harm him.
It's never too late to repay a debt of gratitude, but revenge can never be delayed!
A flash of ruthlessness crossed Ali's eyes, but she quickly regained her nonchalant demeanor.
"Granny Cui, why are the prices in this villa so much higher than in the capital? Although I rarely leave the house, I still know the prices. Tell me, what am I supposed to do with you after you've embezzled so much money?"
Granny Cui stared at Ali in shock. What did she mean by that?
Ali continued speaking slowly and deliberately:
"In the past, I turned a blind eye because you were an elder from my mother's family, but what did you do today! How dare you!"
The last sentence was suddenly louder, which startled the old woman so much that she fell to the ground with a thud!
However, at this moment, the old woman couldn't care less about the pain. All she could think about was why that person hadn't poisoned the young lady and had even implicated her. How was she going to cover it up?
Ali was well aware of her inner thoughts, but she was pressed for time and needed to resolve this potential problem quickly.
So without waiting for Granny Cui to figure things out, she slapped her across the face and shouted, "Granny Cui, my family has treated you well, how dare you conspire with Wen Wan to murder our own eldest daughter?"
Sorry, looking at your face made me want to teach you a lesson.
This shout jolted Cui Mama awake: Yes! Second Miss! Second Miss will protect me.
Thinking of this, Granny Cui simply stopped hiding it. She got up and resumed her former arrogant demeanor, mocking Ali relentlessly:
"Hmph! So what if you know? You're going to die sooner or later. If you cooperate obediently, you'll suffer less. The Second Miss said she won't let you leave this manor alive. Miss, you should think about your last words."
Ah, Ali thought to herself with a sneer, this Granny Cui is really stupid.
But being an idiot is still pretty good.
How difficult could it be to turn a fool into a traitor?
Ah Li wanted her to lure out the Second Miss so that the story could continue.
The old woman, unaware of A-Li's inner thoughts, thought she had been fooled, and her face lit up with joy, regaining her former arrogance: "It's good that Miss understands her current situation. This old servant will not hold it against you this time, since you're about to die anyway."
After saying that, she prepared to leave the room to send a message.
"stop!"
Ali chuckled and slowly circled around Granny Cui, step by step.
The expressionless look on his face terrified Granny Cui.
Why does this young lady give me the feeling of a vengeful ghost?
Recalling the slap from just now, her face was still stiff and numb, and the old woman became even more frightened.
What should have been a single lap felt like an eternity to the old woman.
Only when Ali finally stood before the head maid did Granny Cui remember to speak.
Before Cui Mama could even open her mouth, Ali raised her hand and slapped her again, even harder than before.
After she finished hitting him, she rubbed her sore little hand and said, "Granny, you seem to have forgotten your place. I am the master, and you are the slave!"
I didn't even tell you to step down, how dare you?
Believe it or not, I'll kill you right now!
Granny Cui exclaimed in alarm, "No! You can't!"
Ali bent down and patted Granny Cui's face: "For what you've done, a hundred times wouldn't be enough to warrant your death. Should I call you stupid or just plain stupid?"
At this point, Granny Cui was truly frightened. Usually, the eldest young lady was very lenient with them, and besides, everyone here who had any influence was the second young lady's people.
As a result, the servants in the villa gradually stopped taking her seriously.
But no matter how you look at it, the young lady is the master, and they are the slaves.
The young lady can decide their life or death with a single word.
It seems she needs to find another opportunity to send the young lady away quickly!
Ali knew exactly what she was thinking and said directly, "Do you think you can enjoy wealth and luxury just by following that second young lady? Do you know that if she succeeds, the first person she'll kill is you!"
Since the truth had already been revealed, Granny Cui said directly, "How could that be? The Second Miss said she would give me a lot of money and let me live a life of wealth and luxury for the rest of my life."
Ah Li said calmly, "Only the dead can keep secrets forever."
Granny Cui was shocked. She just hadn't thought of these things; she wasn't really stupid.
Ah Li spoke so bluntly that in an instant, Granny Cui understood what Ah Li meant.
But she still felt that the second young lady wouldn't kill her: "No! Impossible! The second young lady is kind-hearted. She said she would send me away from here after you die..."
Ali interrupted her impatiently: "You've heard too many rumors outside. Has Granny Cui forgotten who told you to poison me? She even dared to kill me, so what are you? What she's after is the position of the legitimate daughter. Anyone who gets in her way will be dealt with. Tell me, with all that you know, which one of it isn't enough to get you killed?"
The old woman stood there dumbfounded, as if struck by lightning, wanting to open her mouth but unable to utter a word.
Ali delivered another powerful blow: "Granny, you should have been unable to get up since you poisoned me. But look, how come I'm still standing here perfectly fine?"
"Granny Cui, let me tell you, my mother and I know everything about your schemes, including why I'm here and what medicine I took yesterday. We didn't do anything before simply because we were investigating and gathering evidence. My mother can't bear to harm the Second Miss, yet she can arbitrarily kill you disrespectful servants!"
I'm coming clean with you now because I've found the evidence and sent it away. Think about it carefully—hasn't someone been missing from our estate lately?
Granny Cui was the manager of the estate, and it could be said that she knew everything about the estate.
As soon as Ali mentioned it, she immediately remembered that she hadn't seen a single person all day.
That little Cui!
Granny Cui was shocked: "Could it be that Xiao Cui is you...?"
