Chapter 1148: The Sofa Rolls onto the Floor
Clearly not knowing what she was doing, Ariella Sawyer was still sleeping soundly.
As for where she was, she hadn’t thought about it at all from the start.
With such a heavy person pressing on him, even Ryan Walyon should have woken up.
Opening his closed eyes, he looked at the woman who was still asleep on his chest.
In the dark, he couldn’t see Ariella Sawyer’s face, but he could feel her presence.
He wasn’t particularly close to Ariella, yet he could accurately tell it was her in the dark.
Ryan Walyon didn’t know why she had stayed the night, nor did he know why she was on top of him now.
However, knowing her bold nature, Ryan believed her actions weren’t an act of throwing herself at him.
Besides, no one throwing themselves at someone would resemble an octopus.
Staring at Ariella Sawyer’s arms wrapped around him for a while, Ryan Walyon frowned uncomfortably and peeled her arms off his neck.
His strength wasn’t much, but Ariella was probably sleeping off-balance on him.
With just a slight pull, Ariella Sawyer’s body awkwardly fell to the floor.
Her fall was quite hard.
Ryan Walyon thought she should have woken up from that.
However, even after falling to the ground, Ariella didn’t open her eyes and kept sleeping.
She slept deeply, treating the carpet like a bed, sleeping even more freely without the constraints of the sofa.
Her legs casually kicked, her sleeping position forming a wide angle.
Ryan Walyon looked down at her sleeping figure on the carpet, frowning even more at her ungraceful sleeping posture.
Ariella Sawyer really didn’t seem like a celebrity, as if she had never undergone etiquette training.
Ryan Walyon even thought she didn’t seem like a woman.
What kind of woman sleeps like that?
In Ryan Walyon’s eyes, women should be like Summer Sutton, sweet and fairy-like in their youth, and elegant and gentle as they mature, every smile and frown beautiful.
He stared at Ariella Sawyer for a long time, seeming not to understand her at all.
Without any intention of helping her up, Ryan Walyon stepped over her and headed to the room upstairs.
Ariella Sawyer kept on sleeping.
She slept straight through to dawn.
She woke up past seven, stirred by the morning chill.
Feeling a bit of a cold, she coughed twice and immediately woke up.
Opening her eyes, she saw the ceiling of Ryan Walyon’s living room and froze for a few seconds.
She looked at herself still lying on the floor and was instantly dumbfounded.
How did she end up sleeping on the floor?
Her first thought was that she might have done something while asleep and gotten kicked off by Ryan Walyon.
Given her fascination with Ryan Walyon, it’s not impossible she might have sleepwalked into doing something foolish.
The truth wasn’t far off.
Ariella Sawyer was a bit startled by her own thoughts.
Ryan Walyon!
If she had done something to him and upset him, how would she continue her career in the entertainment industry?
The more Ariella thought about it, the more awkward and uneasy she felt.
At that moment, Ryan Walyon came down from upstairs, glanced sideways at her, and greeted her, "Morning!"
His face was expressionless, his tone as cold as the morning air.
Ariella looked up at him, subtly observing his reaction.
She wanted to know if she had offended him last night, but Ryan Walyon’s nonchalant demeanor revealed nothing amiss.
