"These are the access cards for the residence, located on the second basement level." Ye Jingmo handed the two access cards in his hand to Liang Zi and Qin Yu.
Qin Yue snatched the access card from Qin Yu's hand, held it up to the light, and looked at it from left to right, as if searching for something special about it.
"Captain, where did this come from?" Liangzi glanced at the access card and asked Ye Jingmo.
All eyes were on Ye Jingmo, as if he were the center of the world, awaiting his answer.
“Zhou Tian gave it to us in advance,” Ye Jingmo replied briefly.
"Let's talk in the room if we have something to discuss. This isn't a good place to talk."
Ye Jingmo's gaze swept over the crowd not far from them. When they saw Ye Jingmo holding the access card, some people's eyes revealed greed and desire, as if they were a pack of hungry wolves and Ye Jingmo and the others were lambs to the slaughter.
Noticing Ye Jingmo's cold gaze, the group of people silently disappeared into the crowd, like a bunch of rats that couldn't stand the light.

Jiang Li and her group hurried along, searching for the entrance to the second basement level.
"This underground base is absolutely astonishingly large," Qin Yue exclaimed as she walked.

The first floor is divided into five areas, resembling a small city: one area is a shopping mall selling a wide variety of goods, one area is a canteen offering various delicacies, one area is a temporary shelter for people to rest, one area is a workshop for soldiers and base staff, and the remaining area is an open space.
Following the icons on the ceiling, Jiang Li and her group wandered through what felt like a maze, turning and twisting until they finally found a staircase leading to the second basement level in a corner.
As Jiang Li walked down the narrow staircase, she looked at the dim lights on the second basement level and felt a sense of unease.

Liangzi bent down and stroked Xiao An's head, gently comforting him, "It's okay, Dad's here."
"Why is this second basement level so dark? It's a world of difference from up here," Qin Yue muttered softly, holding Qin Yu's hand tightly.
Jiang Li took out a flashlight from her backpack. The soft light was like a beam of light in the darkness, illuminating the road ahead and allowing them to see the door number.
The structure of the second basement level is somewhat like a tenement building, with a long, U-shaped corridor filled with densely packed rooms, each door so close together that it's barely wider than a person can walk.
Fortunately, Ye Jingmo's access card was close to the stairs, and he only had to look for five rooms before he arrived.
“Yes, it’s 205.” Qin Yu placed the access card in his hand on the sensor in front of the door, and the door opened in response.
Everyone followed Qin Yu into the room, eager to see its layout.
"Huh?" Qin Yue pressed the light switch by the door, but still didn't see any light.
Jiang Li used a flashlight to illuminate Qin Yue's surroundings, and only then did she discover a card slot behind the door, just like the facilities in old hotels.

Qin Yu put the card into the slot, and the room instantly became bright.
