The sudden appearance of the Peacock King of Brightness disrupted Ling Mountain's plans, forcing Guanyin to report the matter to Buddha.
On the way, Di Ting whispered, "Great Master Guanyin, why do you think the Peacock King of Brightness appeared there?"
Di Ting was also suffering inwardly. Had he known the Peacock King of Brightness would appear, he wouldn't have intervened. Now, he was resented by the Buddha Mother. Even if she didn't say anything, when the time came, a casual move from her could suppress him.
After all, as a mount, his status was lower than Guanyin's.
This question was also to alleviate his unease.
Indeed, they had come very quickly, basically rushing over as soon as they learned that the Golden-Winged Roc had returned to Lion Camel Ridge.
Who knew that the Peacock King of Brightness would appear so promptly, as if she had been waiting there.
Guanyin understood the meaning in Di Ting's words, but she couldn't figure it out for a moment.
As the Buddha Mother, the Peacock King of Brightness rarely intervened in worldly affairs. Even in the case of the Golden-Winged Roc, she only chose to take action under the Buddha's decree.
Such a powerful figure who stayed out of things and remained in seclusion, now suddenly appeared, even ignoring the Buddha's decree, which inevitably made people speculate.
"What do you think is the reason?" Guanyin threw the question to Di Ting.
After all, Di Ting was best at discerning people's hearts. Although he couldn't see through the Peacock King of Brightness, he could still catch a glimpse.
Hearing this, Di Ting said his opinion, "Although I didn't see why the Peacock King of Brightness came, there must be other reasons behind it."
Guanyin glanced at him, rolling her eyes inwardly, feeling that this guy was just talking nonsense.
However, Di Ting continued, "And this matter should be related to Chu Hao."
"Oh? Tell me about it." Hearing the name Chu Hao, Guanyin immediately became interested.
To be honest, Guanyin actually had such a guess in her heart.
After all, at the Great Thunderclap Temple, Chu Hao surprisingly didn't ask for anything and agreed to Guanyin's words.
Now that she thought about it, it was impossible for him to be so generous, which was not in line with his character, unless he had other ideas.
Initially, Guanyin didn't think so much, wanting to quickly complete the task assigned by the Buddha.
But the appearance of the Peacock King of Brightness deepened the suspicion in her heart.
"When we went to see the Peacock King of Brightness, we happened to meet Chu Hao. Although Chu Hao said he wanted to inform her of the Golden-Winged Roc's demonic transformation, according to his character, he would definitely inform us in Ling Mountain first, and then take the opportunity to extort us," Di Ting said slowly, standing on the clouds.
Like Guanyin, Di Ting was also extremely suspicious of Chu Hao's behavior this time, and his suspicion even traced back to the scene where he met him in front of the Peacock King of Brightness's dojo before.
"What do you think Chu Hao said to the Peacock King of Brightness that caused today's events?" Guanyin asked.
Di Ting nodded, "That day, we were all there, so it was not convenient for him to speak. Presumably, he later approached the Peacock King of Brightness again, and what he said must be related to the resources of Lion Camel Ridge."
"You mean...?" Guanyin's expression changed slightly, and she suddenly thought of a shocking truth.
Di Ting looked serious and nodded silently.
What he wanted to say was that the Peacock King of Brightness wanted to seek Lion Camel Ridge, and should have reached some kind of condition with Chu Hao, so Chu Hao later came to Ling Mountain and released the people so simply.
It's just that these kinds of things without evidence cannot be said casually, so Di Ting also stopped there.
Guanyin was a smart person, she knew what Di Ting meant, but she didn't say it clearly, just said: "Let's go back and wait for the Buddha's decree."
At that time, in the Great Thunderclap Temple, Buddha was explaining the scriptures to the Buddhas, and was also quietly waiting for Guanyin to bring the resources of Lion Camel Ridge over.
Before long, at the entrance of the Great Thunderclap Temple, Guanyin and Di Ting arrived here.
It's just that when the Buddhas saw that only the two of them appeared, the original expectation in their hearts immediately turned into disappointment, and their bodies felt even colder.
Thinking that every time Guanyin appeared, she brought bad news, some Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were even mentally prepared.
Only Buddha on the lotus platform looked at the other party calmly.
Although his appearance was calm, his heart was already surging, and he was frantically chanting in his heart: It must be good news, it must be good news.
"It's not good, Buddha." At this time, Guanyin's words immediately came out.
And these three words "It's not good" instantly plunged the originally hopeful Buddha into an ice cellar, and the calmness on his face immediately disappeared, replaced by a heavy expression.
The other Buddhas looked like they were used to it, and besides sighing helplessly, they didn't say anything.
Aware of everyone's emotional changes, Guanyin was also very helpless.
But this matter was so important that she felt it was better to explain it directly.
When Guanyin came to the front, Buddha suddenly said coldly: "Guanyin, did you steal the crow's job?"
Guanyin didn't react for a while.
Di Ting next to him looked strange and whispered: "Great Master Guanyin, Buddha means that you are the harbinger of bad news."
After all, the appearance of crows often represents bad things.
In the eyes of the Buddhas and Buddha, Guanyin and crows seemed to be no different.
Guanyin was also very helpless, but still looked serious and said: "Reporting to Buddha, everything was going smoothly, but the Peacock King of Brightness suddenly appeared, which disrupted the plan."
Soon, she explained the cause and effect of the matter in detail.
The Buddhas who had originally chosen to lie flat were instantly attracted by the Peacock King of Brightness.
"Great Master Guanyin, are you saying that the Peacock King of Brightness actually doesn't abide by Buddha's decree?" A Buddha couldn't help but ask.
"Impossible, isn't the Peacock King of Brightness the Buddha Mother? How could she do such a thing?" Another Bodhisattva asked in confusion.
And the Buddha above frowned, not knowing what he was thinking.
The Buddhas whispered to each other, obviously discussing the matter about the Peacock King of Brightness.
