Chapter 335 Is He Stupid?
Chapter 335 Is He Stupid?
"Oh my god, that young man actually dared to accept the challenge of such a fierce man? Is he stupid..."
"Oh, stop talking about it. Maybe he's really capable! We should keep our eyes open and watch carefully."
As time passed, the two men finally returned to the center of the field and stood face to face. The air was filled with the thick smell of gunpowder. Just when everyone thought that a war was about to break out, something unexpected happened. Shen Shiyan slowly walked forward and said gently but with a firm strength:
"I'd like to propose a more peaceful way to resolve this matter: Now that the four of us have been recognized by this special power, why don't we each propose something that will benefit everyone as proof, and then we can all vote together to decide who is the most suitable choice."
Upon hearing this suggestion, almost everyone present was stunned. Even the man with the battle axe, who had previously been the most assertive, fell into deep thought. After a long moment, the woman broke the silence. "Your idea makes sense. But words alone aren't enough; concrete action is essential. So, do you have any good plans you could share?"
Over the next period of time, the four took turns presenting their ideas and proposals. Whether it was rebuilding a forgotten city from ruins, establishing a palace of knowledge for all intelligent races to learn and progress together, or even seeking out the secrets of long-lost ancient civilizations to rediscover knowledge long lost to the world, these goals were all filled with idealism yet seemed practical.
After everyone finished speaking, a small discussion ensued among the crowd, each confused about how to choose the best solution. Just then, the Shadow quietly approached the group and spoke: "In my opinion, the final outcome doesn't matter. What matters is that throughout this process, each of you is striving for a better future. Isn't that what we call 'growth'? So, let's treat every proposal with equal respect and make this world a better place through concrete action!"
Upon hearing these words, the audience erupted in enthusiastic applause. After a brief discussion, everyone unanimously agreed to proceed with the original plan. The specific responsibilities for each project would be determined in a formal meeting in the coming days.
"It's so exciting, this may be the most important moment in history." One spectator whispered to his friend next to him.
My friend responded: “Indeed, we should all actively participate and contribute to creating a better world.”
Yun Ge, who was standing in the corner watching everything change silently, smiled slightly and whispered softly, "Yes, this is the beginning of our story..."
The Guardian of Knowledge turned to look at her, then softly echoed, "Indeed, the road ahead is long and uncertain, but every step forward will leave a solid footprint..." In this brief moment of harmony, everyone dispersed to prepare for the upcoming meeting. Lin Fan and Shen Shiyan returned to their temporary residence—a makeshift tent. They knew they still had much preparation to do.
Night fell quietly. Beneath the starry sky, the two men sat by the campfire, conversing quietly. The low growls of wild animals could be heard in the distance, but this did not affect their conversation. "Do you think our plan is feasible?" Lin Fan asked first, his eyes gently sweeping over the flames, trying to find some kind of inspiration.
"As long as we truly believe and work hard to achieve it, nothing is impossible." Shen Shiyan's voice was calm yet full of power. "The key lies in the power of unity, not in the individual."
Just then, several figures suddenly and silently approached the camp. It was one of the two competitors from earlier, accompanied by several others who looked equally formidable. "Good evening," she said gracefully. "I wonder if I could spare you a few minutes of your time?"
Lin Fan smiled faintly and stood up to greet him, "Of course, come in and sit down. Is there anything we can help you with?"
The woman nodded slightly, then sat down and said, "Actually, I came tonight to confirm something. Are you fully prepared for tomorrow's meeting? You know, although we've temporarily put aside our hostility, it's still uncertain who will ultimately receive the Crystal's approval... I hope both of us can give it our all."
The taciturn man with the battle axe beside him finally spoke up. "That's true. But I'm more concerned about this: having proposed these great goals, are you truly confident you can achieve them? Remember, dreams without action are nothing but empty talk."
Faced with this question, Shen Shiyan didn't immediately offer an answer. Instead, he turned around, took out a map, spread it on the ground, and began to explain in detail his vision for the future world. "As you can see, there are so many places on this continent waiting to be explored and developed..."
Just as the atmosphere was growing tense, Yun Ge quietly emerged from the darkness. "Everyone, relax! Now's not the time to compete with each other," she said with a lighthearted quip, lightening the mood. "And I believe everyone has their own answer."
After an intense but friendly discussion, everyone finally reached a consensus: no matter what the future outcome, they would respect each other's choices and work together to build a better home.
Just when everyone thought things were turning around, unusual noises were heard outside the camp. It turned out to be spies from an unknown faction, not affiliated with any group but hiding in the shadows, sneaking into the camp and attempting to steal important information...
By the time everyone was alert, it was too late to prevent the impending skirmish. However, at this critical moment, a man in an ornate robe walked in with an enigmatic smile on his face. "It seems like things are quite lively here. I wonder if my old friend can join in?"
After hearing this voice, many people present were surprised. "You...you are the legendary magician! How come you suddenly appeared here?"
