Chapter 1076 1052: Methods of Murder in Prison
These prisoners were stunned; the cell door was indeed unlocked and easily pulled open to the left.
A few prisoners exchanged glances, sensing mutual confusion, then looked inside to find Ren Feng snoring heavily on the bed.
"Are we doing this?"
One prisoner asked.
"Yes!"
The leading prisoner said in a deep voice, holding something, and walked in first.
They moved lightly, not making a sound, and stood in front of Ren Feng's bed.
"Kill him!"
Cold gleams appeared in their eyes as one of them, under the gaze of others, raised the iron rod high and fiercely stabbed towards Ren Feng's neck!
But at this critical moment, Ren Feng, asleep, shifted his head, and the iron rod stabbed into the sheet beside him.
The prisoners' eyes nearly popped out; did he manage to dodge this?
They looked at Ren Feng and found he was still asleep.
Exchanging glances, they took a deep breath, and once again aimed the iron rod at Ren Feng's body!
But at this moment, Ren Feng turned over, and the iron rods all missed.
A chill ran through them, one whispered, "Is he awake?"
Another leaned over for a look, "No, still asleep."
"This is bizarre; how could he avoid that?"
"Let's try again. Once we kill him, we can leave this damned place!"
One of them aimed at Ren Feng's chest, but before getting close, Ren Feng suddenly stretched, hitting the person's face directly.
"Damn it, what's up with this guy, so freakish?"
A prisoner swallowed hard.
"I refuse to believe we can't kill him today, keep at it!"
They wanted to strike again, but unexpectedly, Ren Feng, who had been keeping his eyes closed, suddenly opened them, his calm gaze startling the group.
He was awake all along!
Soon, several screams suddenly echoed in the cell.
"Ah!"
Smack!
Something seemingly heavy fell to the ground.
...
The next morning, the guards entered and found several people already collapsed on the ground, their blood dried.
What happened?
One guard blew a whistle, the sharp sound waking everyone directly.
Some guards rushed to Ren Feng's cell, only to find the door securely locked, and Ren Feng still snoring.
Wasn't it him?
A guard frowned, "Later, check the surveillance."
No one was surprised to see dead people in this prison, given some wouldn't last a few hours here.
The guards didn't make a big deal out of it, just warned everyone before dragging the bodies away, and found when reviewing the footage after three prisoners entered Ren Feng's cell, the video turned to static.
Ren Feng woke up as if nothing had happened, following the crowd to brush his teeth.
Entering the bathroom, a group of burly men brushing teeth, Ren Feng stood beside one, starting to brush as well.
Someone approached, Ren Feng didn't look but suddenly, a prisoner beside him gripped a toothbrush handle, stabbing fiercely at Ren Feng's waist!
Ren Feng grabbed his hand with one hand, the other didn't stop, his face unmoved.
The prisoner felt a chill inside, the next second, his neck was grabbed, his head slammed into the stone basin!
Bang!
Blood flowed along with cold water, the basin turned red, the prisoner fainted, Ren Feng released his grip, letting his head fall into the basin, blood trickling.
The other burly men brushing teeth gasped at the scene, watching Ren Feng as though he hadn't done anything, growing more hesitant.
Ren Feng finished brushing, left to eat, meeting prisoners in the corridor who approached with a concealed hammer in hand, trying to smash Ren Feng's head.
But Ren Feng didn't move, grabbing the attacker's wrist, pressing down, intense pain made him drop the hammer and slam his hand against the wall.
"Ah!"
The prisoner writhed in pain on the floor, Ren Feng released him without a glance, entering the cafeteria directly.
Arriving in the cafeteria, Ren Feng noticed everyone's gaze sweeping over him.
Ren Feng calmly queued, seeming to ignore the stares.
Some prisoners exchanged looks, and one lined up behind Ren Feng.
The guard filling trays loaded Ren Feng's plate, but as Ren Feng was about to leave, he keenly sensed some powder sprinkled into his soup.
Ren Feng smirked coldly, placing his tray on the table, grabbing the prisoner behind him about to leave.
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing," Ren Feng smiled faintly. "You added something to my soup, let's swap."
Nearby prisoners and guards turned to look, the prisoner panicked, shocked at Ren Feng's keen perception.
"You're insane!"
He tried to leave, but Ren Feng's gaze darkened, pulling him, slamming his head onto the table.
Everyone in the room watched, guards gripping their equipment.
Ren Feng acted as if nothing was wrong, forcefully bringing the soup to the prisoner's mouth.
"You said I'm insane, then drink it."
Ren Feng said calmly, opening the prisoner's throat, the soup poured in.
Guards rushed to intervene but were too late; the prisoner who drank the soup tried to expel it but couldn't, fear flashing across his face.
Quickly, the poison took effect, the prisoner convulsed, his face turned dark blue.
Guards lifted him out, calling for a doctor, Ren Feng shrugged, refilled his tray, sat at the long table's center, smiled at the prisoners sitting there, "Alright, I'm sitting here, you can leave."
Nearby prisoners feared Ren Feng, one seated said coldly, "Why?"
"You tried to kill me, why should I show respect?" Ren Feng smiled faintly. "Get moving, while I'm in a good mood, or no one can protect you."
A prisoner twitched a corner of his mouth, intending to argue but recoiled from Ren Feng's cold smile.
They surrendered their seats, all prisoners watched Ren Feng; within a day, he had built a reputation for ruthlessness, instilling fear in everyone.
