Chapter 454: Brand was tricked, the final training before the game
The next morning, the morning light was like a golden veil, gently falling on every inch of the Swiss U-17 training camp.
As the sun rose, the warm sunlight awakened the sleeping training camp, and the starting players also arrived at the training ground one after another.
They were sleepy, some were yawning and rubbing their eyes, their hair was a little messy, and their clothes were a little wrinkled. It was obvious that they had not fully recovered from their sleep.
Before everyone had time to exchange a few words with each other, their attention was attracted by the sound of steady footsteps.
Qin Onokyiha, leaning on a cane, walked towards the crowd with slow steps but with unquestionable majesty.
There was an unprecedented seriousness in his eyes, which was completely different from his usual amiable appearance.
“I’m really looking forward to it.”
Albert Federer muttered to himself as he adjusted his uniform.
He was tall and sturdy, with well-defined muscles. His slightly messy short hair and resolute face made him look exactly like Wolverine. However, his expectant tone formed a huge contrast with his mighty appearance.
"This is the first time Coach Qin has been so serious. I wonder what kind of training we're going to have next."
There was a glint of curiosity in his eyes, and he kept looking around, as if trying to find some clues about the training content from the surrounding environment.
"It is said that Coach Qin and the HERO Tennis Club asked for a large sum of money."
Peter Lambiel frowned slightly and spoke in a low voice, his eyes revealing a hint of confusion and curiosity.
"They said it was going to be used for the upcoming training. Anyway, I can't imagine what kind of training would require such a huge amount of money."
As he spoke, he shook his head slightly, a puzzled look on his face.
As soon as these words were spoken, the players around were stunned. Everyone looked at each other, their eyes full of surprise and curiosity.
Qin Onokyiha has always been a kind and gentle coach, always smiling and patiently guiding every player.
But such an easy-going person now seems like a different person, full of energy and enthusiasm, like a child who has been injected with chicken blood, which makes everyone more curious.
"Cough cough!"
Qin Onokyiha cleared his throat, his voice loud and powerful, instantly attracting everyone's attention.
"Everyone, please be quiet."
His eyes slowly swept across the faces of each player, revealing a determination and expectation.
"After the previous tryouts and some of the incidents in between, I think everyone knows each other now."
He paused slightly, his expression becoming more serious.
"Of course, the U-17 World Cup is about to start, so I definitely can't ask you to cultivate relationships at this point in time."
His tone was filled with undeniable determination. "In other words, the entire training period is dedicated to improving your strength. Don't slack off."
After Qin Onokiyiha finished speaking, everyone's eyes followed his gaze to a place not far away.
I saw a figure approaching from afar and walking towards this side.
The man walked slowly and yawned from time to time. It was Brand.
His eyes were bloodshot and his eye bags were obvious. He looked exhausted, obviously having just gone through a high-intensity work.
"Brand, they'll be handed over to you from now on."
Qin Onokyiha seemed completely oblivious to Brand's exhaustion and spoke calmly.
Then he turned around and left. The whole process was smooth and there was no hesitation or delay. His steady steps seemed to tell everyone that he was full of confidence in the next arrangements.
"You are really too much, old man~"
Brand yawned again, his face full of helplessness and complaints.
"I've already told you I'm very busy. I just pulled an all-nighter to deal with some work, and now I have to seamlessly transition into training."
As he spoke, he rubbed his temples, trying to relieve his fatigue.
"Tell me the truth, are you planning to run away with the money and live out your retirement?"
He said half-jokingly, with a hint of dissatisfaction in his tone.
"You didn't read the materials I gave you."
Qin Onokyiha stopped, turned around, pointed with his crutch at a stack of documents on a bench not far away, and spoke slowly.
There was a mysterious look in his eyes, as if the information contained some shocking secret.
"Here, let's take a look now."
"Fortunately, old man, I prepared an extra one in advance."
After saying that, he turned around again, quickened his pace, and left, leaving Brand with a meaningful back.
"Oh, it's true."
Brand touched the back of his head and looked like he had a headache.
He hesitated for a moment, but finally walked to the bench and picked up the stack of documents.
He quickly glanced through it a few times, and his originally bitter and resentful expression changed instantly. There was a glimmer of excitement in his eyes, and his face showed considerable interest.
"Hey!"
Brand raised his head with a warm smile on his face, and greeted Alexander Amadeus, Peter Lambiel, Kularaja Tasta, Kitagawa and others who were confused.
"Hey~ See you again."
His voice was bright and friendly, and he looked like a kind and harmless uncle.
But now none of these players really regard Brand as just an ordinary uncle. They all know that this seemingly easy-going coach must have some unknown strengths.
"Hehe~Everyone."
Brand still had that signature smile on his face as he glanced at everyone present.
"I think you guys are pretty clear about me."
"Then I won't waste time introducing myself again."
His tone was relaxed and casual, yet it made people feel as if he had everything under control.
The next moment, Brand suddenly stretched out a finger and said to the players with a smile.
His action made everyone feel a little puzzled and they didn't know what he was trying to do.
