Chapter 159: STRANGE SCENT
Chapter 159: STRANGE SCENT
Chapter 159: STRANGE SCENTTHE LEE Junsu that Kim Heedo remembered was a Beta.
But the Lee Junsu in front of him kind of smelled like an Omega.
If what Eomma and Appa told me was true, then Lee Junsu is supposed to be in his early twenties as well. I’ve heard about people who manifested late. But is it really possible for people to awaken this late in life?
"I’m not sure what you’re talking about, Heedo-ya," Lee Junsu said, tilting his head to one side. "Do I smell like an Omega to you?"
Heedo nodded and was about to say something, but...
"Quit the act, Junsu-ya. You’ve been taking miracle pills for quite a while now to turn yourself into an Omega."
What?
Heedo wasn’t sure what shocked him most— the fact that Lee Junsu awakened as an Omega unnaturally, or the fact that Lee Junsu wasn’t alone in that villa.
A handsome man came down from the second floor.
"Who are you?" Heedo asked with knitted eyebrows. "What are you doing here with Lee Junsu?"
Lee Junsu and the stranger both looked confused.
"Son, you should have been careful," his father, who finally caught up to him, scolded him right away. "Think about your position as the oldest grandson of the Ilsung Group. You can’t just reveal your condition to other people." His father paused for a moment. "But I guess it’s my fault. I should have told you to be careful first."
"There’s no need to be careful since I’m here to confirm things with Lee Junsu, Appa," Heedo said. "He’s bound to know anyway."
"Oh, right."
"Heedo-ya, you can’t recognize Sanha Hyung?" Lee Junsu asked, confused and curious. "Did you lose your memories?"
"Yes," Heedo answered while nodding. "That’s why I’m here to confirm if we really broke up, Junsu-ya."
Lee Junsu’s lips formed a thin line, and then he nodded. "Yes. It’s true that we broke up but—"
"It’s been years since you and Junsu broke up, Heedo-ya. Junsu is dating me now," that man that Lee Junsu called ’Sanha Hyung’ earlier said, cutting off Lee Junsu. "I don’t have a phone right now. But a simple

SOHEE was worried about his mother-in-law who got accidentally slapped by Chairman Kim Hyungsik in his place.
However, President Kang Nari just shrugged it off.
On the other hand, the coward Chairman Kim Hyungsik ran away after accidentally hitting his own daughter-in-law.
"This conversation isn’t over."
That was what the old man said to Sohee before leaving.
Back then, he was too busy taking care of his mother-in-law to care about the chairman’s threat.
"I’m fine, Sohee-ya. Let’s just get ready to follow Heedo and my husband."
That was what President Kang Nari said before asking her subordinates to prepare two cars for them.
Sohee wondered at first why they would need two cars.
"I think it’s better if we bring Heedo’s friends with us."
He agreed with his mother-in-law’s idea.
So, here we are now.
Sohee was in the SUV car with Hong Sera, Kwon Gaon, Yang Jaewon, and Cho Euntak.
I brought Euntakie with us since he was a witness to Sera’s accident, and I didn’t want the kid to feel left out since I have some good news to share with them.
His mother-in-law used a different car, and she brought Shaman Jung with her.
"You’ll need privacy with your friends, so Shaman Jung and I will take a different car. I’ll send Kang Sul as your driver. Don’t worry about Park Mansu— he’s being handled by my team."
So, yep, Kang Sul still ended up as his driver-slash-bodyguard for that day.
Fortunately, his mother-in-law took care of Park Mansu since he had no time to deal with his ’sperm donor’ at the moment.
On the other hand, they sent Go Gunjoon and the Kim Twins home.
Too bad since I wanted to catch up with my half-brother.
However, Sohee wanted to focus on Kim Heedo first.
"Sera-ya, Gaon-ah, Jaewon-ah."
"Yes, Oppa?"
"Yes, Hyung?"
Sohee took a deep breath before breaking the good news to his younger friends. "I’m pregnant."
Hong Sera covered her mouth when she gasped, and so did Cho Euntak.
Cute kids.
Kwon Gaon didn’t say anything, but his face beamed.
And the one who recovered from the shock first...
"Congratulations, Hyung!" Yang Jaewon said cheerfully while clapping his hands. But only for a moment. He soon knitted his eyebrows as if he realized that something was wrong. "Hyung, we came here as soon as you called us because you said it was an emergency. So, we don’t know what’s going on yet. I’m getting nervous, though. Hyung, where’s Heedo?"
"That’s the other thing I wanted you to know," Sohee said, pausing for a moment. "Kim Heedo was attacked by my biological father, and it caused him some brain damage. And that brain damage caused him memory loss."
This time, all the kids gasped in disbelief.
Sohee didn’t mention that Kim Heedo had turned into a Hyper-Dominant Alpha on purpose.
After all, Kang Sul was there.
I can’t share too much information even if I trust Kang Sul as a bodyguard.
He couldn’t help the pregnancy reveal because Kang Sul already knew about it, but he had to keep Kim Heedo’s real status as an Alpha a secret.
"How much memories did Heedo lose, Oppa?"
Sohee sighed before answering Hong Sera’s question. "Heedo doesn’t remember me— but he remembers Lee Junsu."
Once again, a collective gasp from the kids was heard.
"Heedo believes that he’s still in senior high school," Sohee added, making his younger friends pity him even more. "That’s why he went to Lee Junsu as soon as he was discharged."
Now the kids were looking at Sohee like they wanted to comfort him.
"Hyung, your life is really a real life makjang," Cho Euntak said carefully. "What can we do to help, Hyung? I’m sure you called us because you have a plan."
Aigoo.
This kid’s trust in me is solid, huh?
But Cho Euntak was right.
"I need your help to prove to Heedo that our marriage is genuine," Sohee said. He still felt awkward asking help from his younger friends, but he didn’t have the luxury to be picky. "I especially need your help to prove that Lee Junsu is a villain, Sera-ya."
Hong Sera smiled and nodded. "Leave it to me, Sohee Oppa."
***
SLAP.
Sohee covered his mouth with one hand when Hong Sera slapped Lee Junsu across the cheek— causing Lee Junsu’s neck to almost snap because of how hard the slap was.
As expected, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Hong Sera could be scary when she wanted to, huh?
